The cryptocurrency market has recovered some of its lost gains over the past 24 hours. The market has added $14 billion over the past one day, rising from $193 billion to its current market cap of $207 billion.
There was no particular catalyst for the recent market correction. The 24-hour trading volume dropped by roughly $2 billion, dropping from $15 to its current $13 billion.
Bitcoin price analysis
The Bitcoin price has recovered from its slump yesterday to currently trade at $6,465. The rise means that BTC price has gained over 6% over the past 24 hours.
The increase in buying pressure has seen the Bitcoin price along with others trade in the green zone.
The daily trading volume has lost nearly $1 billion over the past 24 hours. The trading volume yesterday was $5.2 billion but it has now dropped to $4.4 billion.
A look at Bitcoin’s price over the past one week shows that it has been trading sideways, with a slight peak above the $6,600 mark. Besides a dip below the $6,000 mark two days ago, the cryptocurrency has been trading between $6,500 and $6,300.
Ethereum Price analysis
The ETH price has gained $20 over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $267 per coin yesterday but has gained nearly 7% to trade at $288.
The rapid drop in Ethereum price has been attributed to ICOs dumping Ether on the market. The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has stayed stagnant around $2 billion despite the price increase.
The Ethereum price has lost 22% over the past one week despite the recent price increase. It was trading at $370 a week ago but is now down to $288 per coin.
Ripple price analysis
Ripple’s XRP has added 8% over the past few hours. XRP was trading at $0.266 yesterday but has risen to now trade at $0.288. The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has dropped from $299 million to now stand at $279 million.
The rise in the general cryptocurrency market saw the XRP price also record gains.
XRP was trading at $0.35 a week ago but has lost 20% of its value over the past seven days to currently trade at $0.28.
EOS price analysis
EOS price has performed excellently over the past 24 hours. It has surged by nearly 25%, rising from $4.39 yesterday to now trade at $5.87. The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has dipped to $616 million from $657 million.
Even though the EOS chart shows that it has been on a decline over the past one week, it has only lost 3.5% during that time period. It was trading at $6.08 a week ago but is now trading at $5.87.
Litecoin price analysis
Litecoin has also gone up by roughly 7% over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $51 yesterday but has recovered some of its losses to now trade at $56. The 24-hour trading volume has also increased, from $250 million to $266 million.
LTC has lost 15% of its value over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $66 per coin a week ago but has now dropped to $56.
